If you’re looking for experience in the third sector or just simply want to give something back to your community then why not volunteer with CCLASP? With various areas of our work to get involved in your help can allow us to develop our charity and provide more resource in raising funds to help support children and young people with cancer or leukaemia in Scotland, and their families. We are always looking for positive, enthusiastic, and committed individuals to support us.
People volunteer with CCLASP for many reasons and we’ll make sure you fit right in. You can help us have a voice by generating awareness of who we are and what we do and allow us to continue to raise our profile across Scotland. Searching for and providing us with opportunities to talk about our work can open many doors. Donating your skills and expertise supports the works that we do too and could help us to improve and grow.
Why not get out and about and have fun whilst benefiting our cause? Creating a fundraising group is a great way to hold collection days, run a coffee morning and meet new people who share your passion to help the local community.
Our calendar of events that we plan throughout the year also calls for volunteers. From Christmas gift wrappers to chaperoning our trips to the cinema, we’re always grateful for a spare pair of hands. Helping at our events allows you to see first-hand the positive impact your time makes to children suffering from cancer and how grateful their families are for it.
To discuss how you can become a volunteer for CCLASP please contact us or call us during office hours (at the top of the page).
