The Hub
Our bespoke hub is located just across the road from the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. Built with the aid of a generous donation of £1m from the Howat Foundation, the Howat Hub is a centre of support, peace and relaxation - a home from home break from the hospital but on the doorstep.

In the Hub there is the "Love Oliver" cafe open Tues and Wed 11am to 3pm. As well as being a base for our hospital transport and wellbeing services, the Hub offers beautiful spaces for peace, creative arts, a children's library, hobby groups, parents get togethers, meetings and events. It's a perfect location for birthday parties too.

Take a look around our secret garden in the city
Subject to the Scottish weather, our secluded roof top garden with its lavender & herb planting, outdoor seating, gazebo, playhouses and even table tennis offers a unique change of scene.
